Technology has become a staple in modern society. Through the booming mobile device market opening the flood-gates in cell phone technology and mainstream utilization, to the innovation of tablet based personal computers, it seems everyone is plugged in one way or another. This concept is particularly evident among younger generations, with children as young as kindergarten employing the use of a smart phone.

Additionally, with the increase of capabilities among electronics manufacturers, video games and gaming systems are becoming higher performance and more interactive. Due to this fact, children growing up in this technologically based society are being drawn in to these intricate games more so than ever before.

The use of personal electronics has taken off drastically over the last twenty years. Before this sudden explosion in growth, the use of technology and personal electronics in the private sector was not so prevalent. Individuals would have other facets in which they would spend their time, and would interact differently with each other than they do now. One of the most drastic changes pertaining to this concept is the way in which relationships are being created. More teens and young adults are turning to the computer to develop relationships than ever before.

In all, technology is a wonderful gift that many people take advantage of on a daily basis. From improving the manufacturing and processes in the industrial sector, to providing useful and entertaining tools for private use; there are many innovative devices. However, some people speculate that the increase in technological reliance can be a bad thing for our society once it reaches a certain threshold.
